With over 15 years of experience in the chocolate industry and a degree from the esteemed Ecole Chocolat, I’ve honed my confectionery skills alongside some of the most influential figures in the field. Meet Kay Thibodeaux

My passion for chocolate has taken me around the world, allowing me to collaborate with renowned experts such as Ed Seguine, Chef Jin Caldwell, and Chef Kevin Wenzel of Wiseman House Chocolates. I’ve trained at prestigious institutions like Johnson & Wales, the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), and the New Orleans School of Cooking. As a proud member of the Fine Chocolate Industry Association and the Retail Confectioners International organization, I am committed to excellence in every aspect of chocolate making.

A Journey from Education to Chocolate

Before diving into the world of chocolate, I began my career in education. This

background has fueled my desire to educate others through my passion for chocolate.

My inspiration was sparked during my time at the Mars Dutch chocolate division, where I discovered the intricate art of chocolate making. My competitive spirit earned me trips to the Dominican Republic, where I was inspired by the cacao farms and the true essence of chocolate. This experience ignited my passion for learning the initial conception of chocolate and drove me to provide only the best for my clients.
